Embodied Self Expression-Ing Group Practice Sessions

This is a space to be seen and heard for all that moves through you, without the need to verbalize or name things, but to go beyond that to sound and movement.

And it is a space where the art of witnessing is practiced.

We combine creative check ins, playful warmups and meditative practices that build trust before moving toward 1:1 practice.

There is something very potent about being witnessed in this, and in witnessing others.

This workshop is for you if you want to:

- Get out of your head more often!

- Free yourself to express creatively & authentically.

- Experience more Presence in your life.

Here, we'll:

  • Play.  Honor the body and come alive with warmup practices that weave embodied play with meditation.
  • Explore the internally felt difference between Being Mind and Performance Mind.
  • Explore the potent powers of “witnessing” and experience why it is nourishing to receive and give, to be seen and to see another without judgement.

You will:

  • Connect to a Community of Practice
  • Enhance your present relationships by increasing your sense of presence, and your abilities to witness another in their expression.

What Recent Participants Say:

“That was amazing.  I really went into a deep, deep place. It was unexpected.  Things started to emerge, I had feelings that I hadn't anticipated coming up.
‍Moments.  I had a complete unexpected moment with my son when he was younger, and it just brought up so much emotion. It was crazy to feel that moment in that space. It was so real. Really transcended.  It was so deep.”

“And my witnessing was powerful too.  I was also surprised how active and intimate it is to witness another.  It was very emotional also.  It had a real intimacy.”

"Once I got those glimpses of being able to be in being, what it felt like for me was really just a curious exploration of my body and the way that it moves.  What came of that at the end was a real appreciation for the experience like wow its pretty neat.  It was a reminder to check in with the bodymore and just let it move, it's such a wonderful thing that we have, you know?  It felt nice to not be giving it a job, or demanding much of it, but just exploring it.  That felt really good."
Ryan Burkholder
Embodied Self Expressioning
"It was really powerful for me.  I live in my head a lot, and I over think.  When I closed my eyes it teleported me physically into that space in my head with all those thoughts.  It was chaotic at first, and then coming out of it, I felt relaxed, a bit sedated.  I actually felt physically lighter."

"The practice of witnessing makes you feel for your fellow man.  Makes you feel like “I'm human, You're human”  Thats how I felt. I felt connected."

"Witnessing was probably my favorite part.  I really enjoyed that.I found everyone receptive.  There was a sense of fun and connection which deepened throughout. I became more able to trust my exercise partner as we moved through the process.”
